Guelph Toyota Cares
We're Proud to Support
Guelph Toyota Supporting Hospice Wellington
Supporting the Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington
At Guelph Toyota, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to get in the game.
We’re proud to support the Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington with a $10,000 donation, helping local kids access sports, recreation, and life-skill programs that build confidence, teamwork, and lifelong memories.
Whether it’s stepping onto the field, joining a team, or discovering a new passion, this support helps remove barriers and creates opportunities where they matter most.
Thank you to the Children’s Foundation for the incredible work you do in our community—and to everyone who helps make moments like this possible.
Supporting Wyndham House Inc.
For over 50 years, Wyndham House Inc. has been a beacon of hope and a safe space for youth in the Guelph community. With open arms and without judgment, they’ve welcomed young people from all walks of life, offering vital services to those who need them most. Their unwavering commitment to preventing and ending youth homelessness has made them a national leader in this critical fight.
Wyndham House doesn’t just provide a place to stay—they offer young people aged 16 to 25 the tools and support needed to navigate life’s toughest challenges. From long-term housing to wrap-around care, they stand beside these youth every step of the way, helping them build a future on their own terms.
Guelph Toyota is incredibly honoured to support this vital work. In partnership with Toyota Canada Inc., our team at Guelph Toyota is proud to donate $5000 to Wyndham House, a place that offers not just shelter, but hope.
And this journey is just beginning—mark your calendars for Saturday, November 30, where our incredible General Manager, Michael, will be emceeing The Gift of Home Fundraiser, an event that ensures our homeless youth continue to receive the care and support they deserve. Because every young person deserves the chance to dream, to grow, and to thrive.
A Legacy of Care and Compassion
In the demanding world of retail automotive, mental health often takes a back seat. The challenges faced by dealership teams, especially during the pandemic, highlighted the critical need for support and understanding.
Pat Priestner, our founder, recognized this need and turned his personal reflections into action. Originally written as a heartfelt memoir for his children and grandchildren, Notes for the Children shares Pat's journey of overcoming personal and professional challenges while prioritizing mental well-being. Drawing from over 50 years in the retail automotive industry, he candidly addresses his struggles, lessons learned, and the practices that helped him navigate life's ups and downs.
Today, Pat visits our dealerships to share these experiences firsthand, fostering conversations around mental health and personal growth. His book is a blend of personal stories and practical advice—a testament to the transformative power of small, meaningful changes.
All proceeds from Notes for the Children will go to charities that support well-being across Canada, helping to extend the impact of his message beyond our organization.
